The full use of sovereignty and independence from external influence is a top priority for Armenia, the US Security Advisor John Bolton told RFE/RL.

According to him, it is more important for the people to have ample opportunities in the world arena and not be chained up by historical patterns.

The stronger the democracy, the greater the opportunity to communicate with the United States and other countries that share the same values, Bolton added.
