Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed on Wednesday that Iraq does not need normalization, stressing that the word "normalization" does not exist in the Iraqi lexicon.

In a speech delivered during his attendance at Christmas Mass at St. Joseph's Church, as reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), the Prime Minister stated, "Our commemoration of the glorious birth is a further affirmation of the strength of the cohesive harmony of our society."

He added, "We are working with all our capabilities to preserve and protect the symbols of unity," explaining that "we are all confident that Iraq is working to strengthen its position as an oasis of stability."
