Kabar (23 August 2024)

Kazakhstan is prepared to boost its exports to Tajikistan by around $200 million, covering 85 different product categories, said President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Trend reports.

The Tajik side also has significant potential to increase its exports to Kazakhstan, he noted during a joint press conference with Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.

"We've agreed to expand the range of goods traded, systematically remove barriers that hinder trade and economic cooperation between our countries, and strengthen our partnership in the transport and logistics sectors. To further enhance economic cooperation, both governments have been tasked with fast-tracking the signing of a roadmap to increase trade turnover between our countries by 2027," the president said.
