Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has invited Turkmenistan's President Serdar Berdimuhamedow to visit Kazakhstan and participate in the sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the first Central Asia + Japan Dialogue Summit, which will be held in Astana, Trend reports.

According to official information, Tokayev extended the invitation during a telephone conversation with Berdimuhamedow.

The Turkmen leader accepted the invitation and expressed confidence that the initiatives discussed at these meetings will help define new opportunities for regional cooperation. He also wished for the successful conduct of these events.
