MFA of Turkey (1 June 2017)
We welcome the formation of the new government after the general elections held on December 11, 2016 in the Republic of Macedonia with which we have friendly relations since the day it was founded, and the independence, sovereignty and development of which we have supported. On this occasion, we wish the new government success and congratulate the friendly and brotherly people of Macedonia. 
It is our sincere hope that the new government, formed after a longstanding political crisis in Macedonia, will bring peace to the people of Macedonia and ensure unity and solidarity, thus bring stability to the country.
