The President of the Iraqi Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid affirmed, on Wednesday, during his meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Iraq's firm position on the Palestinian issue, while indicating that Iraq rejects any foreign interference in Syrian affairs.

The media department of the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement - received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid met at Al-Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi, the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan."

The statement added that "at the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Republic appreciated the position of the United Arab Emirates, government and people, in supporting Iraq and its people since the change."
