Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, on Sunday to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the political, economic, and security fields.

A statement from the Ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), indicated that "Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 23rd Doha Forum."

"During the meeting, bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey were discussed, along with ways to strengthen cooperation in the political, economic, and security fields, in a manner that serves the interests of both countries and enhances regional stability."
