The state-owned Moldlectrica on December 8 announced that Moldova’s national energy system had returned to normal operation after December 6, when it appealed to Romania for emergency assistance in connection with Russian strikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

The national electricity transmission system operator assures that supply to Moldovan consumers is delivered in accordance with supplier forecasts and fully covers domestic consumption.

At the same time, Moldlectrica calls on citizens to use electricity prudently, especially during peak hours, to reduce the load on the grid and support the stable operation of the energy infrastructure.
