Sky News Network made an interview with Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammed S. Al-Sudani during his official visit to the United Kingdom.

The Prime Minister's Media Office highlighted key points of the interview that were received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

The Prime Minister expressed, "The ceasefire in Gaza is a welcomed step, though delayed, resulting in more casualties and destruction. We hope the ceasefire agreement is stable and not fragile, with immediate allowance for food aid to enter Gaza. Iraq worked alongside regional and international efforts to stop this war, while Netanyahu sought to prolong it for internal political reasons or to entangle the region in a broader war. It is time for everyone to realize that the genocide must stop, efforts must be made to rebuild Gaza, and that no peaceful solution is possible without direct dialogue with the Palestinians and guaranteeing their rights."
