Kazinform, January 23, 2013 More than 100 colleges across Kazakhstan are to introduce a dual education system, Prime Minister Serik Akhmetov declared at the Government's meeting dedicated to results of the year 2012 and the implementation of the "Kazakhstan-2050" Strategy on Wednesday. The head of the Government reminded that the dual education system is being developed within the modernization of the technical and vocational education in Kazakhstan. This type of education combines apprenticeships in a company and vocational education at a college. More than 100 colleges in Kazakhstan are working on the introduction of elements of the dual education system, according to Prime Minister Akhmetov.
