AVİM CELEBRATES 30 AUGUST VICTORY DAY

Türkiye celebrates the victory of 101 years ago under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Mustafa Kemal Atatürk that concluded the Turkish War of Liberation. As AVİM, we wholeheartedly join the celebrations of our people’s and country's 30 August Victory Day.

LAUSANNE PEACE TREATY

The Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) celebrates the centennial anniversary of the Lausanne Peace Treaty, which paved the way for the establishment of the Republic of Türkiye.

ATAA MOURNS TRAGIC DEATH OF FORMER VICE PRESIDENT SEVGIN OKTAY

The Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) is mourning the tragic death of Sevgin Oktay, ATAA former New York region vice president, after a fatal car crash near Poughkeepsie, New York on April 30, 2023. He was 88.

On 28 April 2023, CICA (The Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia) Secretary General Ambassador Kairat Sarybay paid a visit to AVİM. During the visit, the CICA Secretary General shared his assessments on the global and regional developments, as well as his perspective on the opportunities for cooperation in Asia and Eurasia.
