The Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM), on 13 December 2016, will host Prof. Dr. Haluk Selvi to deliver a conference titled An American Missionary Family in Bitlis and Their Effects on Genocide.

Prof. Dr. Haluk Selvi will evaluate the development process of the Armenian Question in the Ottoman Empire between the years 1860-1916 and will share with the audience his research findings on the role played by American missionary George Knapp and his children within the genocide allegations and the propaganda carried out abroad about these allegations.
